I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Medina in Sousse, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The location is unparalleled, nestled in the heart of the old city next to iconic landmarks like the Grand Mosque and the Ribat of Sousse. The Moorish-style lobby and tiled walls exude a historic charm that truly made me feel like I was stepping back in time. The rooms, although in an older style, were impeccably clean and spacious, with efficient air conditioning that provided a comfortable stay. One of the major highlights for me was the sizable balcony that offered stunning views of the surrounding area and a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring the city's rich history. The helpful staff, fluent in English, were always on hand to provide valuable information and assistance, further enhancing my stay. Despite being an older establishment, the hotel's affordable price point and proximity to local amenities, such as cozy cafes and restaurants within walking distance, made it a truly exceptional choice for immersing oneself in the captivating ambiance of Sousse. I can confidently say that Hotel Medina has set a new standard for my future travels and I look forward to returning to experience its unique charm once again.
